Week 2 / Exercise 2- Emphasis & Balance
a) Introduction
Emphasis is a principle of art that emphasize on a particular object or drawings that is need to be focus and is the main message that is needed to be speak from a drawings. Any object or area of emphasis is called a focal point. It is the part of the designs that can capture viewer's attention.
Balance is the distribution of the visual weight of objects, colors, texture, and space. There is to type of balance in art design which is symmetrical balance and asymmetrical balance.

So for both of this design, i want to emphasize the vitality
of grass when lack of water. For the left design, it is just grass with dry
soil to emphasize the vitality if grass. But i feel so plain so i
added with dead flowers and color with dull color to emphasize the grass.
